The purpose of this suitability analysis is to highlight opportunities to provide better shade equity throughout counties in Los Angeles. This was determined by county data regarding poverty, age, race, health, transportation, and existing tree canopy.

From this analysis, it can be determined that lower income, more diverse counties in Los Angeles would benefit greatly from increasing the amount of trees.
